BIO
Jesús Parras (Torredelcampo, 1993) is a Spanish multidisciplinary artist who has been residing in Tiohtiá:ke / Montréal since 2021. He works on film productions for the VFX industry while continuing with his personal artistic projects.
In 2015, he graduated in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid. He spent the following years producing personal projects with which he competed in competitions, won awards, and exhibited in galleries and artistic centers. In 2019, he decided to give it a new dimension by pursuing a master's degree in 3D Production at Animum Creativity Advanced School, where he continued with a specialization in CGI lighting.
Through his work, he examines and experiments with the relationship between humans and technology. In his creative process, he embraces both traditional methods and cutting-edge technology. He uses means of expression ranging from traditional and digital painting to immersive VR experiences in the metaverse, creating his own style through their synergy.
To this day, Jesús has participated in national and international exhibitions, obtained various grants and residencies, and participated in major Hollywood film productions.
