Biography
Jesús Parras Chica is a Spanish visual artist based in Toronto. He holds a BFA in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid.
Painting remains the foundation of his practice, which extends into installation and digital image-making. Alongside his artistic work, he has worked across the film and technology industries, an experience that continues to inform his interest in the relationship between physical and digital forms of experience.
In 2017 he received the First Prize at the XXV Certamen Jóvenes Creadores awarded by Madrid City Council. His work has been exhibited across Spain and is held in public and private collections.
